A church comedy is simply being compared to the so called comedy skit. During worships in church, this church comedy is also one of the useful ways in delivering the message of God. It is somehow a simple representation of what has been going on long ago during the time of the Lord. In this respect, in order to come up with an effective comedy, one must plan well everything that should be included in the skit so that you can come up with a meaningful presentation. In doing this comedy skit, you do not need to be the best writer and actor in order to portray best the story or the skit, instead, by creating a humorous drama, you can already get the best chance of entertaining your audience while at the same time inculcating in their minds the Biblical truth that you wanted to impart to them. On the other hand, in order to come up with the best writing comedy, you can also choose to study certain techniques online so that you can be aware of the various techniques which involve writing a comedy skit for your church.
In order to start writing, the best way that you need to do in order to have a good start is to make and create your own actors and actress for your play. Actors are among the vital part of your drama. They are the one’s who will give life to the church comedy that you wanted to impart with your audience. Without these actors, it will be hard for you to convey your audience on the message and biblical truth that you wanted to convey for them. Thus, as much as possible, make sure that you are going to choose the best and capable actors for a certain role so that you can have the assurance that they can deliver and portray well the role that are assigned to them. The next thing that you are going to do would be the right classification of your actors. You should not focus more on actors which are jolly and can play hard comedy, instead, vary them all.
The uses of stereotype techniques are very much useful so that audience can see the variations of the roles that you wanted to show them in the play. It would be easier for you to deliver them the message of the church comedy if you can be able to utilize various types of personalities in your actors and actresses. There are lots of familiar characters personalities that you can choose to use, and you can be sure that it would be an effective tool in your play. Lastly, the very important thing that you need to consider would be the flow of your story. This is the gist that you need to focus more since it is the heart of your whole presentation. Since you are going to portray a church comedy, never limit your imagination by performing all comedies alone; instead do some variations in order for you to come up a colourful comedy skit.

Love Actually is great! It’s British-based, with Hugh Grant & Keira Knightley in the cast! Basically, the entire plot revolves around Christmas and love. A bunch of little stories are woven into one, all connecting through the media or the actual government. It’s very quirky and cute.
Or, there’s always Get Smart! It’s action-packed and has Anne Hathaway, along with Steve Carell. It’s absolutely hilarious! They’re basically secret agents & have to solve a case together.
He’s Just Not that Into You. It was pretty disappointing compared to all the hype surrounding it, but nonetheless provided an amazing cast, as well as humor + an all round giddy feeling at the end.
Wild Child is slightly more teenager-based, forming a basic plot around a Malibu brat who is shipped off to a private English school. Emma Roberts + Natasha Richardson are simply phenomenal and hilarious in the movie… great soundtrack as well!
