how to write stand up comedy
A lot of people say im funny, and maybe I am, but I just can not equal me some comedy right?
I can be funny at a dayy basis, but I can not sit down and right my own comedy. I wrote some funny stuff last night, but when I looked over at it again I did not find it funny, but last night was I cracked up at it and wonder how I came up with it. Is this because I read it too much, or I just realized that it was not funny? I need a real formula on how to write stand-up comedy. But thats probably still not Ganna work. How do I put my life fun even with pen and paper and then to the scene. Thanks
keep working on it, remember the moments of your day that you find enjoyable, and list them so you can get a solid example of what is humorous in your life to look back on / inspired by. listen to comedy to get an idea of what listeners find fun, work on your presentation, because it is so much of the comedy is about. pay more attention to the things around you. so much of life is based on ridiculous things play out. mostly just practice refining your own style and bring your fun personality to paper. There is no set way to do this except to practice and find your comic personality. hope that helps:] and yes, if you go over something, it may lose some of it's spark, but it should still have most of it. try to work on your jokes to make them even better when you feel they have gone dry.
