Disappointed at the way their lives have turned out, four longtime friends reunite at the ski resort where they used to party and find themselves transported back to the year 1986 by a magical jacuzzi. Adam (John Cusack), Lou (Rob Corddry), Nick (Craig Robinson), and Jacob (Clark Duke) have all seen better days; Adam’s and Nick’s love lives are in the dumps, Lou is clinging to his hard-partying past, and video-game addict Jacob can’t even muster the courage to walk outside. A fun stay at the ski resort where the gang made some of their best memories seems like just the thing to cheer everyone up, but after a night of heavy drinking in the hot tub, the four friends wake up to find they’re about to live through the ’80s a second time. Hot Tub Time Machine Reviews:
1.) If you’re looking for a good comedy to see in the theaters, this is a good one. Laughs the whole way through with some fresh comedic concepts. The only reason I didn’t rate it higher is because it’s kind of a boys club comedy. Would be nice to see an innovative comedy with female characters that are witty and serve as more than just eye candy.
2.) It was great movie that reminded you of things you forgot. It reminded me of all the crazy bright colors ,crazy hair cuts.I loved the music that played . I think it would be cool to go back just to watch how simpler things were. I think adults should see this movie because it remindes you of the crazy “80″
3.) I hate most movies and only see a good one every year or so. Hot Tub Time Machine brings the X-Generation back not to the 80’s, but rather back to being irresponsble, free souls. Over endulging with sex, alcohol, pot and cocaine – like the prom was yesterday. Don’t wait for DVD or Cable, see this movie on the big screen on a Friday or Saturday night and enjoy the crowd’s reaction. Rob Corddry has a lot of fun playing the alcoholic/bad influence and will get much more work after this. Please go enjoy Hot Tub Time Machine – Let’s make this a classic.
