While visiting England a few years ago, when it came time to drive through roundabouts, I freaked out. Not only was I sitting on the right side of the car and driving on the left side of the road, now I was having to drive around in circles with no idea where I wanted to go.

It turns out they are all just driving around the spare parts for the vans they’re driving. Which bemuses the reader (and the main character). It’s great! I remember it was a blue covered paperback. I read it back in 2000-2. I had bought it new at the time. I’ve searched all over the internet for about 3 hours now! Racking my brains about it!
