I’d actually stay away from FiOS, or anything else Verizon related. Verizon has screwy billing processes and they aren’t worried about losing customers. If a customer isn’t happy, their customer service just doesn’t care.
I personally use DirectTV and have had no problems with it, other than the occasional heavy thunderstorm messing with the signal for 15 to 30 minutes at a time. But I’m normally too busy staring out at the storm through the window to care.
