However, if you’re not convinced about what Liverpool has to offer, then why not read our next five. We look at the exciting music scene, retailing and much more.

6. The Fab Four – Every year, people flock to Liverpool from all over the world to pay tribute to the achievements of The Beatles. The home of John, Paul, Ringo and George, there are many places that relate to their marvellous talents – not least of all the Cavern Club.

7. Nightlife – Of an evening, Liverpool comes alive. In addition to the live music, there’s a host of fantastic eateries, pubs, clubs and bars, live comedy and a lot more besides.

8. Shopping – The fantastic Liverpool One is a huge 1.65million sq ft leisure space jam-packed with shops, restaurants, over 20 bars, and a 14-screen cinema. Not only that, but the city has several other great stores ready to be explored.

9. Sports – While Liverpool has a wide selection to offer, no trip would be complete without taking in a sporting event. Whether it’s football at Anfield or Goodison, racing at Aintree or a round of golf on one of its many courses, anyone into their sports will relish what this Merseyside city has to offer.

10. Music – Live music can be found from up-and-coming local bands in many of the city’s bars and clubs, including the famous Cavern Pub, The Magnet and many more.

So whether you’ve been to Liverpool before and want to see more of the attractions, or this will be your first visit, why not do it properly by staying in a luxury boutique hotel?

Biopic ‘Nowhere Boy’ sweetly reveals a young Lennon

Need a postcode or map location please.?

Im trying to find out exactly where 30 Kelsall Street in Liverpool is. (Its the house where the comedy Bread was filmed) I need either a postcode or a map location please. So far I have tried Royal Mail postcodes and Mapquest and nothing :(
Ooooops you might be right that it is fictitious but can anyone give me the real road name and number of the bread family house please?

According to IMdb it was filmed in Elswick Street in the Dingle area of Liverpool
