Which time period(s) influenced your movie tastes?
If I can choose any particular time period that influenced my main movie tastes, I’m going to go with mostly the 21st century, when I can understand the current movie audience very well. The reasons include:
1.) I find many action-filled flicks very explosive that I can stand for it when my mind is blown away by that, and so do the special effects.
2.) Comedy at that time is getting better with more jokes that make me laugh, though I got interested in the spoof genre with “Airplane!” from the 1980s.
3.) There’s always a great summer blockbuster hit every year which I refer to it as the “Star Wars” of (year film was released) – including 2007’s “Transformers” and the new “Star Trek”.
